Sunday

Serlande. the eldest orphan, lives with diabetes, and has not been feeling well most of our trip. Yesterday, she was taken to the hospital and the doctor thought she had a stomach parasite and she was given antibiotics. We did lay hands and pray for her, but she has gotten worse during the night so she was taken back to the hospital at 5:30 am. There are no beds left in the hospital, and ill people everywhere so Karen is returning with a mattress and a pillow for her. We are going to go on one hour rotations to the hospital to hold her IV bag as there are no IV stands. Please pray for her this morning.

  8. Serlande,
How I remember you coming to the main house for your needles. Then I would take you by the hand and walk you down the driveway to your house as the stars shone all around. How I long for these hands to hold the I.V . for you.
Did you know that God calls all these stars by name? Scitures say. He also has numbered the
hairs on our heads. ( Not so hard in Won's case)He knew us when we were knit in our mother's womb.Jesus is coming back for us and will give us all new bodies. Then he will make a new heaven and new earth and there will be no more tears or needles.Praying for you,all in the compound and associated with HATS and all of Haiti. Love Won and Weese.
